Hosted in Downtown Palo Alto, Inspirit AI Scholars is an artificial intelligence bootcamp for high school students to learn to program AI and build their own AI projects.

Meet Our Instructor Team

Our instructor team consists of alumni and graduate students from Stanford, MIT, and other leading universities who have done cutting-edge research in the field. We hope to bring the most recent developments in Artificial Intelligence from our experiences with courses, labs, and ventures to empower high school students globally. Meet some of our instructors below.

  • Brianna Chrisman

    Education: Stanford, Ph.D.; Yale, Bachelor’s in Biomedical Engineering, Applied Physics

    Research: Worked in Dennis Wall's lab in computational genomics, specifically related to evolutionary virology and structural genetic variation. Previously worked as a software engineer at Google.

  • Neal Jean

    Education: Stanford, PhD in Electrical Engineering; Georgia Tech, Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering; Duke, Bachelor’s in Economics and Math

    Research: Using machine learning to tackle challenging problems in sustainability and healthcare with Stefano Ermon in the Stanford AI Lab.

  • John Cocjin

    Education: Stanford, Master’s in Bioengineering; Rice University, Bachelor’s in Bioengineering

    Research: Developing data tools to analyze brain imaging data at National Institutes of Health and Stanford, spanning various neurological disorders, from epilepsy to memory disorders to Parkinson's.

  • Saahil Jain

    Education: Stanford, Master’s in Computer Science (AI); Columbia, Bachelor’s in Computer Science (AI) and Economics

    Industry Experience: Worked as a product manager at Microsoft on Office 365, where he improved the intelligence of data center operations at scale. Also particularly excited by the applications of AI to health care.

  • Artem Trotsyuk

    Education: Stanford University, PhD in Bioengineering, Master's in Computer Science

    Research: Using bioengineering tools coupled with artificial intelligence to improve wound healing outcomes in diabetic patients. Developing AI-powered smart bandages with a closed-loop system for personalized medicine.

  • Greta Farrell

    Education: MIT, Bachelor’s in Mathematical Economics, Minor in Public Policy

    Teaching: Before joining Inspirit as a curriculum developer, she taught middle and high school math from pre-algebra to pre-calculus and developed mastery-based curricula at the Khan Lab School.

  • Rozy Eastaugh

    Education: Stanford, Master's in Electrical Engineering, Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering

    Industry Experience: Applying engineering to tackle socio-environmental challenges like renewable energy and community-led sustainable agriculture. She has been working as a hardware engineer this past year, designing and testing hardware-software systems for both solar and consumer electronics applications.

  • Tyler Bonnen

    Education: Columbia University, Bachelor's in Chemistry and Comparative Literature

    Research Experience: Completed research fellowships in the Max-Planck Institute in Leipzig and the Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences at MIT. Uses biologically plausible computational models, neural data, and animal behavior to formalize the relationship between perception and memory.
